Just seen it- I haven't had so much fun in ages! I had no idea that de Niro has such an amount of self-irony ;)
Anyone watched it?

I got the book for my birthday - I can't wait to find time to read it. I've yet to see the movie too, but I'm glad to hear it was good!

Aw man, now I have the urge to go and see it! But I don't think it's still in theatres. Anyone know when it's being released in the states?

i've seen it! but when i saw it, i wasn't in a good mood for like a whole week haha, so i didn't get too into it. i was actually disappointed at myself for not liking it as much as i know i should have (because i love fantasy movies) i think i'm gonna rewatch it later. :)

aaaaaaaw, I hope you've all watched the movie AFTER reading the book??
It's one of my favourite books, but I haven't had the time to go and watch the movie yet... going to do that next week.

But honestly, you have to read that book. Maybe it's less "funny" than the movie, but it's a brilliant novel.

I saw the trailer and thought that was the biggest load of crap in the world. I won't be paying any amount of money to see the film. I'll happily buy some popcorn tho.. mmm.
