More Than Us
School disco March 1998, and i was 11. Sitting alone, i just listened to the words and they spoke volumes to me- it was like the song was written for that exact moment. Loneliness. Jealousy. Comfort. It was all there.
Then the strings came in and i went 'woah.. this is brilliant'. I ran up to the DJ to ask what the hell that was. He told me "ah some new band, 'Travis'..". I repeated the name over and over in my head all night, then wrote it down and stuck it to my hi-fi when i got home. The next time i heard that song i jammed a tape in as fast as i could and recorded it (ooh, illegal!). I still have the tape and the bit of paper with Travis on it. I'm a sucker for memories and sentiment and that sort of thing, so all that stuff is in a box with a lot of other memories :) |

I saw them in live (22 nov 1999) before I had any cd!!
A friend told me about them and we went to the concert together
Special songs to remenber of that concer?

It was Sing. I´ve seen the video at MTV. Then I saw the video of Side... and that was it, love!!!
Actually, here in Brazil, the only songs that plays on the radio are Sing and Side. No new song, no older song. Sad. |

| It was Driftwood. I bought a copy of "Q magazine" with a promotional cd and there was "Driftwood" too. Amazing song, so i went to buy "the man who" limited edition 2 cd's and after i bought Good Feeling and....the story so far.... |
