Hiya guys
It's my 18th tomorrow & I was wondering whether much will change, I know I'll be aloud to buy alcohol & Tobacco (Will buy former not the latter) but are you seen as more mature, more of an adult when you turn 18?
I know it may sound a cliche but 18 is seen as the day you officially become a woman/man, independence achieved etc. Just wanted to get your views :)
Thanks alot! x |

No, those with a few more years behind them see 18 as still being a kid. Maturity doesn't come with at a magic number. And no matter how mature you feel at 18, in 10 years, you'll look back and laugh at that notion.
Now, pass me my bifocals and shawl. |

Yeah, I don't know. I've been 18 for a couple of months, I don't know if I'm more mature, but it is more fun. A lot of my friends are 18 this month, and it's actually weird, cos I've know them for so long and it does make me look at them differently now. Kinda like, they've been growing and maturing all the time, but so gradually and I'm only seeing it now.
Oh, happy birthday btw! |

Happy Birthday!
In my country 18 is a magic number, you can vote, get married, buy alcohol and cigarettes and go to the bars. So all that is pretty exciting, at least for a few years. I was the youngest of my friends, and the last to turn 18, oh the agony of waiting! The worst stick I got from a friend who's less than a week older. Now it's other way round and I'm happy to be the youngest ;^) |

Happy Birthday!!! My advice is just be wise of your choices. Like everyone said on here wisdom comes with age yet you could never get widsom without making some wrong choices. Be careful & best of luck! |
