wow, so i think it is safe to say that you're not a tom hanks fan then, hee hee. he did a great job in 'Saving Ryan's Privates' I thought, that was a great performance - and he also did great work producing 'Band of Brothers' (and the upcoming 'The Pacific'). he also was instrumental in getting a WWII memorial constructed in Washington D.C. he's not the worst of them, but hey, you are entitled to your opinion ;)

Let alone the "oh I'm such a great actor" one. Completely overrated.

lol Juli...you don't feel very strongly about this do you?

I would have to say Rob Thomas, and that horrible singer from Thriving Ivory (especially if he sings in the elevator.) That's the worst I can think of right now. I may come back and add more.

Oh, he's definitely not the worst of them. Absolutely. Tom Cruise is way worse, imho. I just find him annoying as an actor. Doesn't mean he can't be the nicest guy in real life.
I liked one Tom Hanks film I saw. "Catch Me If You Can" I think it was... I don't know. Too many years ago xD.

LOL! I don't feel that strongly about this, to be honest. I just usually avoid his films and that's it. I'm just having a bad day. It's good to vent on Tom Hanks :oP.

Gladly (the cross-eyed bear).
gladly the cross I'd bear.
that's a mondegreen that is. at last the mystery is solved.

*taps bench*
and a one, and a two, and a one, two, three...

*Travis Tabernacle Choir begins*
Keep Thou my way, O Lord, Be Thou ever nigh;
Strong is Thy mighty arm, Weak and frail am I;
Thou, my unchanging Friend, on Thee my hopes depend;
Till life's brief day shall end, Be Thou ever nigh.

Keep Thou my heart, O Lord, Ever close to Thee;
Safe in Thine arms of love, Shall my refuge be;
Then, o'er a tranquil tide, My bark shall safely glide;
I shall be satisfied, Ever close to Thee.

Keep Thou my all, O Lord, Hide my life in Thine;
O let Thy sacred light O'er my pathway shine;
Kept by Thy tender care, Gladly the cross I'll bear
Hear Thou and grant my pray'r, Hide my life in Thine.

Eamon.

It's a line from the Tom Hanks movie, "Forrest Gump." Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get."

I'd free Tom Hanks for I think he's brilliant.
But I'd put in Lily Allens, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga while I'm watching the about-to-be catfight over the security camera.
In the other elevator I'd put in Gadaffi and Bin Laden..just to see how'd they would get along :)

Ursula von der Leyen.
German minister of Family Affairs.
She scares me. Very much. At the same time I feel a strong urge to yell "SHUT UP!" at her every time I see her on TV. So if I was trapped in an elevator with her, I would probably start looking for a way to make her shut up for... some time...

Another one would be Guido Westerwelle.
He scares me, too. He's our new Foreign Minister.

And I definitely don't want to be trapped in an elevator with any good-looking British actor. No, thanks. I would just goggle at them and could never look in a mirror again *LOL*

I almost thought you were describing Hugh Grant until I read the word "american". I would easily nominate him for the most annoying actor in history award.

Persons I'd like to see get trapped in an elevator:

* Brad Pitt
* George Cloney
* Tom Cruise(!)
* Kanye West
* Paris Hilton
* George Bush
* That Dr. House guy(he really get on my nerves)
* Hannah Montana
* All boybands in the world.
* Eminem
* 50 Cent
* Milow
* Josh Groban
* Jonas Brothers
* A bunch of Swedish people, that you've never heard of.
