HEY EVERYONE!!! Just woke up. I'm SOOO exhausted...but totally on a Travis high. What an experience this whole thing was. My first Rock n Roll road trip!!!! ABC boardies, you are all amazing. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to finally meet these people I've become so close with over the years. You are all wonderful people and great friends.
The Chicago show was great because we were all together, but it obviously had its technical difficulties with Franny getting shocks from the mic all night long. However, the Cleveland show ROCKED so hard. OMG. Kayte and I had a blast. It was perfect. They were happy, rocking and played for much longer than they did in Chicago.
Set list:
1 Intro- 3 Times & You Lose
2 Chinese Blues
3 Writing To Reach You
4 J Smith
5 Selfish Jean
6 Re-Offender
7 Something Anything
8 Long Way Down
9 Love Will Come Through
10 Closer
11 Driftwood
12 As You Are
13 “Side Wide Open”
14 Falling Down – Fran in crowd
15 Sing
16 Humpty Dumpty Love Song
17 My Eyes
18 All I Want To Do Is Rock
19 Before You Were Young
20 Turn
21 Ring Out The Bell
22 More Than Us
23 Blue Flashing Light
24 Why Does It Always Rain On Me?
25 Flowers In The Window
It was amazing. We got a front row Frougie spot, tons of good pics because there was no fog machine like there was in Chicago...annnnnnnnnnd Fran and I had a "moment" on stage where he acknowledged we were from Detroit because he was telling the audience he drove there Sunday and got pulled over by the cops because he was listening to ZZ Top loudly and speeding, lol. He got out of the ticket though. ;) So he was talking to us about how amazing the Clutch Cargos show was in 07...while on stage. It was pretty sweet. :) After the show, we met up with the band, got pics and stuff signed and got to talk to Fran for quite a bit. The fact that they care so much about their fans means so, so much to me. It's a very rare and special thing.
Thank you for the music, Travis. It brings people together from all over the world. How cool is that?!? This was one of the best weekends I've ever had and will never, ever forget it.
Pictures coming soon... |

I'm so glad for you all... It seems that everyone had a great time!!!
This was Fran's comment on twitter about it:
Cleveland you ROCKED. Had a live ichat on stage tonight with my mum. The crowd waved. She waved back.
Makes me want to see them even more *sobs*.
Cheers! |
