Oh yeah, and I checked the blood and urinalysis that I had to get. They check me for syphilis. YES, SYPHILIS. Disgusting. |

yikes!! i don't even remember having medical exam before going off to college. but it's been a while... maybe lindsey will refresh my aging memory.
EDIT: there's no cure for syphilis, correct? |

Syphilis is curable with antibiotics I believe. I didn't have to have an exam but I know they checked my shot records and I had to get another measles shot because the one I had when I was 2-3 was done 29 days apart and they have to be at least 30 or something completely silly.
Don't stress Lauren, you'll get it sorted.
My advice about picking classes is this: pick things you feel pretty confident that you'll get good grades in as this is the semester where your GPA is sort of set. If it's junk you'll have to work harder to get it higher. Conversely if it's high a few semesters down if you get a lower grade it won't have as big an impact.
Also don't waste all your more fun elective type stuff right away.
