(this is Travis related but it'll take a minute to get there)
My son's Kindergarten class has a "Star of the Week." This child gets to be line leader (SUPER big deal) and also the teacher displays a poster the child and family have made that is supposed to have pics of family, pets, interests, etc. So we found out Friday night that this coming week is his chosen time.
He and I were looking through pictures and I'm letting him pick whatever he wants. He picks some from Halloween, him playing soccer, some of his sister, the cats, pretty standard.
And then he picks one of me. Insists upon this one:
So now there is me and Fran on this cheesy Kindergarten poster! For the caption I wrote, "Here is my mommy with her favorite singer Fran Healy from the band Travis."
I just have this fear the teacher will think I am some total weirdo who puts her band obsession on her kid's poster! It was all him! I tried to suggest others but, nope, this was the one.
This poster also includes a picture of hm holding the first (and only) tooth he lost. World famous musician, baby tooth...all on one poster. |

Dang it! You caught me again. I had to pay high dollar to get Travis on my fake son's poster. It's all part of my plan to grow their fan base in the states. Start em young, you know? |

You can't see but I was totally squeezing his tooshy.
Kidding! Yeah, he is giving me a nice squeeze.
Jude I got into Travis right as Aidan was born so he has definitely grown up on it. But it's still very odd and random. And the pic is just in a photo album, not displayed in the house so it's not like he sees it every day.
