"Too Good To Be B-Sides" - The Best 20 Travis B-Sides Unofficial Fans Voting Page
If you could choose 20 songs for the b-side double album, what would they be?
I'm presuming that it'll be a double album, as there are so many to choose from!
The much talked about Travis b-sides album is much wanted by the fans, and Travis themselves have all said that one day one will probably see the light of day. I did this before last year - see the results here.
As we now have a load more b-sides, this needs updating and starting afresh.

I don't want to appear rude saying this, cos I'm happy to be democratic, and if it's what enough people want, then fair enough... but do people really want a B-Sides album?
If so, why? I don't mean that sarcastically, I'm genuinely intrigued.
I just don't see the point. Perhaps I see it differently cos I have all the singles, but wouldn't it just be money for nothing and a waste of Travis' time?
Everything is so available now with downloads etc that there are no 'obscure' or hard to get tracks anymore, so what's the deal?
Perhaps I'm missing something, but I just don't see a need for this...?

Lol, well, the dictionary definition is "the less important side of a pop single record"... so I'm guessing a b-side is strictly to do with singles. But then the term is really from the days of records, so I guess maybe its changed now?
But I'd definitely say that Perfect Heaven Space isn't a b-side. It's an album track; an a-side, which also happens to be a hidden track like Blue Flashing Light, or the 12th Memory music on the Japan-only version of 12 Memories. You could argue that Sarah is an a-side too, if you consider EP's as just mini albums. :P |

Well yeah, there is the problem is that some of the b-sides are on some versions.
For example, I had no idea that 20 and a few others weren't just hidden tracks on The Man Who until it came up on the last round of voting.
To me Perfect Heaven Space is an alternative track.
