I always liked Avery's antics especially on Farty Brodeur but to slabber about Dion he deserves a pasting, let him play I say.

Woah! Avery has been suspended indefinately because of comments he made about Dion Phenuef dating his 'sloppy seconds.' I really dislike Avery, and suppose this can be seen as a thread against Pheneuf, but INDEFINATELY seems kinda harsh. Unless indefinately is just the term they throw out until they decide on an actual suspension.

I thought "Indefinitely" was pretty harsh too...but, I can't stand Avery. I guess they wanted to suspend him for some of the other stuff he's said and done too. I'm just mad that the Stars got him in the first place. He does not belong with them.

I instantly felt bad for Dallas when we went there.
The suspension is totally a reaction to his past antics. If someone just said that who didnt have his record, someone would just tell him to shut his trap and that would be the end of it.
The hearing is today i think, so we shall see what happens.

He would have got mangled last night, plus The Stars sent him home anyway and they will probably send him to Texas next year since he has a no trade clause in his contract.

In other Avery news I have more fashion sense than him as my avatar shows.

You cannot use your avatar as an example of anything positive.
A hip cocked to the side isnt the most manly pose.

Who would give Avery a no trade clause?? Havent they noticed his track record? Oh great, send him to Austin with Anne.

I don't have much hope for the Stars this year. Wild might have a chance but it'll be tough.

I think this discription of "the inncident"

CALGARY -- Apparently, Sean Avery finally ran out of ways to cross the line.

So he invented a new one. And in one stunningly inappropriate sentence yesterday a career built on indiscretion may finally face the sort of justice he's eluded for so long.

Kind of like Al Capone going to jail for tax evasion.

Yes, it would have been one of the sweetest poundings since Mike Tyson started taking regular beatdowns.

Better yet, it would've been a war no Stars teammate would've wanted any part of as Avery's dwindling list of pals in the game likely disappeared to zero yesterday
