Oh I love Heroes!!! It's brilliant show. I really enjoyed Series 2 even though others have said they didn't like it as much. I tend to wait and watch them back to back as having to wait a week for the next episode really bugs me! lol

Hope you enjoy it! :D

I thought season 2 improved as it went along, though it didn't match 1. But do watch out for the finale- it was stunningly good! Enjoy! :)

Brutal as in horrible and not authentic at all?? Because even as an American I thought they sounded weird.

I'm generally very impressed with overall how well British actors can do an American accent but I remember when I saw Guys and Dolls in London one of the actors' "American" accent sounded like a German speaking English. (and he was British) It was pretty distracting.

Worst Irish Accents...

Nicole Kidman & Tom Cruise in Far and Away

Brad Pitt in The Devil's Own (later redeemed in Snatch)

Richard Gere in The Jackal

I agree, I was laughing at the tv when I heard them speak! It was dire and embarrassing! lol

I've never seen The Devil's Own or The Jackal but you are spot on about the accents in Far and Away. What on earth was Tom Cruise doing?

Sounding like crap

Loved season 1. I agree season 2 wasn't the best, but I have high hopes for season 3!

Don't Talk to Me About Heroes,
Most of these men sing like subs,

Jesus was a black man,
No Jesus was Batman,
No, No that was Bruce Wayne

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! I'm finished it already. Was on the last episode on disc 3 and that was it!! I thought there would be more on disc 4... aww man!!

Stupid writers strike. Depriving us of an extended series. poo to that.

As for actors trying to pull off the irish accent, they make us sound like leprachauns (Sp?!)
Another example: Gerry from P.S. I love you - kiss me arsssssssssse ahhh cringe!

p.s. Peter petrelli and the new hair cut - HUBBA!

LOL!! I think you're right.

Yes the writer's strike sucked but new eps start here on Monday!! Can't wait.

Sorry I keep talking about non-Hero stuff on your thread but you reminded me of one of my favorite clips ever.

Leprechaun Sighting

I don't know if this was a huge neighborhood prank pulled on the local news but my favorite parts are the amateur sketch and the guy who has his "Irish whistle."

I just found this on youtube and it was pretty funny. It is a promo merging The Office (US) and Heroes.

The Office Heroes

This last season was uneven but I decided to stick it out.

Until last night.

That finale was so absurdly turdly I do not even know what to say.

I have officially broken up with Heroes. I am stating it here in case I am weak in the fall when the producers start saying, "no really this season will be so much better."

Please help me stay strong and not go back to this show. Please remind me of my vow to be DONE with it.
