Actually we have licenced (bought) this image and the eye image from the artist who created them in the 70's. His name is Derek Birdsall and a very nice man and one of the greatest british graphic designers. We saw it. We loved it and instead of nicking it, we contacted Penguin, then the Dahl foundation, then penguins art department then the artist himself and bought the rights to use it.

What's wrong with libraries? There's not really much else to do when you're skint and can't afford to actually do stuff!!

Well my Mum had said i'd like Tales of the Unexpected or something, by Roald Dahl- so i asked where i'd find Roald Dahl (cos i know he did children's books too, but that'd be wrong!) and they pointed me in the right direction- and upon browsing Dahl's books (i didn't know there were so many!) i found Kiss Kiss :)
