Any big plans?

A so called "Night of Arts" is tomorrow in Helsinki, and I'm going to lock the doors and stay indoors. It started as a nice small mid-week festival with art galleries having special programme, performances, small food stalls, bookshops open all night etc, but was gradually taken over by drinkers, and now I don't like it any more. It got too big and daft.

Well, there's one interesting outdoors concert, that's a bit tempting:

"Rock, rytmi, rakkaus" Concert
Recapture the mood of 1968 in a concert by front-line Finnish artists celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Helsinki Festival. Stars to include Ismo Alanko, Michael Monroe, Eero Raittinen, Paula Koivuniemi, Tipe Johnson, Johanna Kurkela, Kauko Röyhkä, Maya Paakkari, Ville Tuomi and Nightwish soloist Anette Olzon. Immortal gems of the summer of love from the Beatles and Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel.

Sansa, Maria Gasolina and Eternal Erection will raise the mood with their energetic performances before the concert. Presenter Njassa. Concert arranged by the Helsinki Festival and Helsingin Sanomat. Production Eastway.

Program starts at 18. Rock, rhythm & love -concert begins at 20.30. Senate Square restaurant open 16–02. "

Unfortunately Anette Olzon has cancelled, she's got flu.
