Hello, terve! I was just wondering how many finnish people are using travisland messageboard! :)

| I'm Swedish, close enough? I don't speak any Finnish, though, but I've come to realize it's one of the most beautiful languages I've ever heard. I've kind of fallen in love with this really cool Finnish band called Indica (they're quite famous over there, aren't they?), and I just love the sound of how the language mixes with the music. (Sorry, stupid post, but I felt someone had to answer.) |

Well hello! Of course, Sweden is very close to us finns! :) After all we are cousin-nations! :) Oh yeas, Indica. They are pretty popular here. I'm not so sure, but I think they are going to release a new record soon? In this summer I went to Turku to see Kent. It was so cool. I've been listening to Kent nearly ten years. So good band! :) How are you in Sweden now? Do you have any news Travis coming to Sweden?
In spring time I was visiting in Sweden, Umeå. Real nice and beautifull town! :) |

Jaa, mitä itse tiedän niin sanoisin, että ainakin kuusi! Ite tosin stalkkailin täällä aika kauankin ennen, kun postaamaan rohkaistuin :D Suomalainen? .. Mutta mukava tosiaan huomata, että useampiakin suomalaisiakin näkyy! (+pitää pysyä näkyvillä, jos siitä mitään apua suomikeikan saamiseen olisi, hmm) |

Meidän täytyy pistää pystyyn suuri messageboard valtaus, että saadaan vihdoin bändi uudestaan Suomeen! :) Vierailin sun profiilissa (aivan hemmetin hieno musiikkimaku sulla :) ) ja huomasin, että olit ilmeisesti ollut Latviassa kattomassa Travista? Tajusinko oikein? Millainen keikka oli, jos olit paikalla? :D |

Jooo lähistolle on travis uudelleen saatava, oli sitten vaikka ruotsi! Mutta niin, olin Latviassa. Eka kerta travis-livenä ja tuota, on niin sekavat tunnelmat vieläkin, että ei voi käsittää :D Se oli tosiaan vaan aivan uskomattoman upeaa, oltiin Juulin kanssa aidassa kiinni ja se oli niin mainiota (+niin paljon enemmän)! Ihan pelkkää ekstaasia koko keikka (koko bändi, dougien+franin hymyt ja andyn crowd-surfaus) ja niin mahtavia kun manicsit onkin niin olin ihan muualla. Onnellinen+surullinen yhdistelmä kuvaa aika hyvin, mutta varmuus että ei ollut ainut kerta on aika helpottava :) Kaikki oli loistavaa+hulluutta+en tiiä millon oon valmis kirjottamaan siitä illasta järkevästi, pahoittelen hehe |

I posted an answer here last night! I'm quite sure I did anyway. I know I wrote one at least. Spooky...
Anyways, I was basically just saying that Kent are probably my favourite Swedish band, but that since everyone else here loves them as well (and those who don't like them hate them), I've never felt like going to any of their live shows.
Only time I've been to Finland was, I think, nine years ago, when I visited the Moomin Valley outside Turku with my family. The scary part was that everyone refused to speak English and would only speak Finnish. Now I'd probably just find that charming, although I wouldn't be able to give a decent answer.
And you got everything right except the verb "skriva", which is irregular and should be written "skrev" in the past tense. (Skriva-skrev-skrivit = write-wrote-written). Otherwise it was shockingly perfect! :) |
