That stinks. WHY do they interview if they can't offer you a job right now???

The clothes are always awkward. I hate looking for a job. The whole process is exhausting.

it's the law that they have to advertise and interview for these particular jobs even if they have somebody pretty much lined up for it.

awful awful awful.
anything that i have that is interview appropriate makes me look like an eighty year old spinster or my mother makes a very discouraging remark about.
last thing i should be worrying about in an interview is what i look like but 70% of what people communicate is through how they look and gesture etc, if i am sitting uncomfortably/or too comfortably for that matter it's gonna end up a pile of poop

I was once told you should wear something that would suit the job you're being interviewed for. So, no granny clothes for a interview for a dj job at MTV…

I agree 100%.
I Hate interviews and also i have to interview people from time to time.
Thinking about it, i have to do about 15 interviews next week. Boo.
They are such false situations.

So they do interviews for jobs where they have people lined up? Here they just advertise the vacancies and that's it. I twice applied for a job, just to get a rejection letter the day after the deadline... It's so obvious that they already had someone for the job, cos I doubt that they managed to interview people and all that in one day.

Interviews can be a really annoying process. I hope that you'll be successful soon :o)

The more you do the better you will get and the pefect job is out there for you... somewhere.

You can do this and any school will be lucky to have you.

I'm still waiting to hear back from my last interview.

They said it will take two to three weeks for them to go through the applicants.

It's two weeks today so I'm sure I'll be hearing anytime soon.

I hate the bloody things too, esp when you are in direct competiton with folks already employed in the organisation and when the employer tells you how good the oppurtunities are within the organisation as they employ from within it.

It's amazing the amount of effort you have to put forth to get one job. So many applications, interviews. Blah.

The right thing will work out.

If it makes you feel better my husband has been in talks for one job since MARCH. We are about to tear our hair out. His final (they better be telling the truth) interview is next week.

Another spate of them lined up this week...

Good Luck today,

You'll get the one that's best for you. I have total faith in you.
