a glass of beer at least four hours before the next feed. Certainly helps the milk production;0) |

I was told that if it's in your system it's in the milk. So a great time to have a drink is exactly when you're nursing!
I once did that in a restaurant and you can imagine the looks I got!!
An occasional drink isn't going to do any harm. |

Hmm well I drank the occasional beer with my second daughter who wasnt a big feeder anyway. And gave mine a bottle at nightime so didnt feel guilty about the beer. But there definitely was an abundance when she woke up!! It was my nurse who suggested it as beer relaxes the system and then your milks a flowing, enough for 20 babies haha. Annes children are younger than mine though so her info is more up to date :0) |
