Turkey did not deserve to win last night. But Croatia fecked it up BIG TIME with penalties, did they not practise these? lol

Bring on the next match!

Well,I think first half was balanced and the second half was dominated by Croatians. As for extra time,we were the better side,me thinks.I do accept that Turkey did not play a great football, but I think Croatia didn't shine during any time interval in the match either..Anyways,that won't change anything:P

End of thread.

It's all about World Cup qualifiers anyway.

None of this Turkey and Russia getting through to the semi finals of a major tournament bollocks.

Won by Greece 4 years ago, No England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland or The Republic of Ireland attending, Turkey and Russia through to the Semi Finals ??

What is going on ??, could it be that the money we are paying the superstars is being matched by the belief with which the so called lesser teams are playing, has big money started t ruin the game at an international level ??

Dubz

the Turkey game was one of the worst games i've seen in a while apart from the last few minutes of extra time :). the game itself was terrible BUT i thought turkey technically were spot on and played to their strengths, defending, defending and a bit more defending.

Russia game wasn't great either but the best team on the night won. The only nation currently more happy than Turkey and Russia, Germany ;)
