That second pic is a horrid shot of me with that awful expression. Not to mention the whole double fisting thing there, only one of those beers was mine :) |

Hmmm, so what does the person who guesses the date closest to the actual birth date get?!
The personal satisfaction of being correct.
Have you gone into labor yet? Because my guess of Wednesday is almost out of time. |

I'm trying not to get stressed out about it...baby can probably sense it and therefore not wanting to come out...looks like i will have a stubbon child :)
I went walking after work and did chores around the house. Had contractions from 5p until bedtime (15-20 minutes apart) so hopefully that's a sign that true labor is not far off.

Good luck! Maybe this is the weekend for the big event. I may have missed this discussion, but do you have names picked out? |

I think it's a good day to have Mary's Online Boardie Baby Shower!!!!
My gift is a cleaning lady. Expect her on Mondays and Thursdays. She does laundry and bathrooms!

His name is Isaac - we think it's a pretty strong and smart sounding name :) |

Aww, thanks a bunch! It's the thought that counts right?! Well, I hope someone gets me a spa day...to get me to relax and get the darn baby out :) |

If baby #1 had been a boy, we were going to use the name James Isaac. For some reason, we chose a different name when we actually had a boy. Good thing too, he is sooooo not a James. |

Ya know I've heard that the pregnancy massages can cause contractions. That's just what I've heard, maybe worth a try :) |

I've heard that too. There is supposedly some pressure point on your foot or ankle that can start it. I got one and it didn't start labor....but it felt great so it's not a bad thing to try. :)
We watched "Office Space" a few days before I had my son and the scene when they beat the crap out of the fax machine was so hilarious and when I was laughing I felt all this pressure and I feel sure if that scene had gone on a few more minutes my water would have broken.
So get a massage and watch a funny movie. Way better than walking or cleaning. |

Hmmm...my hubby is a chiropractor--I think he's been holding out on me in terms of what can be done to induce labor-he knows all of those pressure points! (he keeps telling me "He'll come when he's good and ready!").
Okay, ordering a massage and funny movie for tonight!
(I have been feeling a little "weird" this morning...) |
