I read somewhere (20 Minuten I think) that she is appearing at the 'Mr. Schweiz' show. Where and when this is I don't know. I guess she will only sing one or two songs at the most. |

Ah, ok, thank you for the information. I don't think I'll go to the Mr. Schweiz thing, but it's good to know that she will attend there, so maybe I'll watch her on TV. Thanks anyway. |

Mr Rock n Roll is awesome, and Poison Prince is cool too. But the actual album, I was disappointed with. The tracks all sound the same, especially the verses... sorry Amy! |

I don't agree with that, I really love the new album and I'm so glad I bought it!
My favourites are:
- Poison Prince
- Run
- Barrowland Ballrooms
- Footballer's Wife
- Let's Start A Band
- Wish For Something More
- Mr. Rock & Roll
- This Is The Life
- Caledonia
The only ones I don't like are L.A. and Road To Home don't ask me why! |

Yes. Every time I hear her on the radio or see her on TV, I think 'it's a boardie, yay!' lol
Hopefully I'll be hearing another boardie on the radio too, soon ;o)
Have you never heard Fran on the radio? Technically he's a boardie!
But yeah, i knew what you meant... ;) |

I know what you mean, but for some reason I unrequitedly love the album anyway. *trots off to play it again*
I'm not really into the last three tracks (including Caledonia) though. |

I didn't buy Definitely Maybe until last week...
Amy Mac I've been listening too since September, however, and I suppose that I agree with most people here that it really is a great album. My personal favourite is This Is the Life. She both looks and sounds a bit like how I imagine a fish would sound, gulping for air, kind of. I regret not seeing her when she came to Sweden a couple of weeks ago, but it was raining and I didn't feel like going to Stockholm. |

There's a really good piece on Amy in this months Q; it's the 'At home' feature. Includes her sitting with a Scotland flag signed by Travis, numerous Travis posters and her framed photos of herself with Travis, taken outside the Academy a few years ago. Quite funny to see she's still an obsessive weirdo like the rest of us! haha! |
