My Display for "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".
This was the result of a craft session with the kids that use the library, lots of fun where there is not much else to do :) |

There was a favourite book thread a while back, I think I may have said that was my favourite book of all time.

Most Fairytales I got as a kid were quite sinister, Hansel and Gretal, The Scorpion and the Frog, Little Red Riding Hood, Peter and the Wolf.

I love my library :) At the mo we have a Chatterbook Display to do....I really get fed-up doing displays but sometimes they can be fun like this one.
Doctor Who sounds brill!!! We had a kids fancy dress party here at Halloween and this kid came as a full on Dalek! His dad and him and spent months building it :) SO COOL! |

Ah, Chatterbooks. We don't do that here but the big library up the road do. I love doing displays, its the best bit. And as you can see there isn't much to do in my library so its a chance to grasp on to something! You don't get to do stuff like that at the big libraries where i am, so i'm pleased to be in my shoebox really! |
