I think Aqua Net lasted through several washings, didn't it? Ha ha!

I had totally forgotten about the wet look. What was that stuff people used to spray on their curly permed hair to make it look wet all the time?

Most of the "cool" bands she liked were British. Bands none of us had ever heard of at the time. I also think she wanted to be anyone other than who she was. The whole teenage rebellion thing.
