| I don't get the X&Y hate. It was nothing new, but there were a couple of belters on there. Speed Of Sound and Talk, both rate tunes. |

| me too Estenban. It got constant rotation on my ipod for some time after release. Fix You, White Shadows, Swallowed in the Sea, The Message are personal highlights on what is a very strong album. |

Saw them in orlando 2(??) years ago, sometime in the spring. It was way fun, even though it was in a huge stadium and lacked any sort of intimacy. |

Heard about the new Coldplay album title on the radio this morning. I was gonna start a thread, but Monica beat me to it! :) I'm really excited about all the great bands coming out with albums this year!
I love Coldplay, but I used to be a bigger fan a few years ago. I liked "Parachutes," loved "Rush of Blood To The Head" and didn't buy X&Y. However, I really think "Speed Of Sound" is a great tune and "Fix You" is probably my favorite Coldplay song of them all. |

Lol, 'Viva La Vida' is slightly different to 'Death And All His Friends', but the same theme I suppose :)
I really hope this album's good, especially after all the hype they've been giving it on their site. It's now or never to make Coldplay ridiculously famous or to confirm to the world that they're past their best. |

^that's kinda true and that's exactly why i don't really like the hype :/
it's 3 months until the album will be released and people are getting more than crazy already... there's this huuge discussion about the title now, i mean, it's clear the band won't please everyone, but still... i dunno, some people will never stop moaning, i'm afraid. ^^
well, chris said the new album's gonna be very different from the first three... i'm really excited. =) |
