wooooo! leaving for Tokyo in 14 hours!!!! I'm ready to go, mp3 player fully charged, 2500 song to be played, 1984 in the backpack, deck of cards ready to be shuffeled and earplugs for a good flights sleep :) |

I spent a month in Tokyo in 1988. It's definitely an experience! I'm a picky eater, so finding familiar food was the hardest part of my trip. Hope you find good eats. Just for fun, try the subway during rush hour ;-) |

I think I prefer breathing ;)
Actually I'm going to Kyoto, Nara, Hiroshima and Okazaki as well. Should be a great experience :) |

They have these guys in the subway who wear white gloves and their job is to cram as many people onto each train car as possible. I think they're really called "people pushers." At one point we were shoved in so tightly that my feet were not touching the floor. |
