I don't either. I've been thinking about getting one for my birthday. Not sure if I really need one. Where do I go that I need to carry music with me? No where. I'm always here or in the car. My Walkman still works. Do iPods have built-in radios the way Walkmans do? |

They have FM radio capability, but usually you need to source an FM tuner to sit between the headphones and the jack to make it work - more ways of extorting money from you.
I switched straight from my old sony walkman tape player to the ipod. You need one for walking to the shops and back, going jogging, plugging into your car stereo, using as your home stereo, etc, etc! |

Jogging, ha ha! That's a real knee slapper!
How do you use it as a home stereo when it just has headphones? I would like some tunes in the kitchen. |

Hee hee, I can just see that sitting in my lovely sea-foam green 1950's kitchen! You want to know my set-up now? I put the baby monitor in front of the stereo in my room and put the receiver in the kitchen. It's nice and static-y and in mono.
I feel like a dinosaur. |

I never let anyone see my ipod music list, let alone my Top 25. I'm afraid of what people may think of me...maybe multiple personalities! You can learn a lot about someone by looking at their mp3. I do love having my ipod for listening at home, in the car, and at the gym (where I don't jog). |

Oh, come on Jolene. You've made it all the more interesting now. I think we can all respect variety. Not saying we won't laugh, but.... |
