Hi Everyone,
Firstly, Id like to thank each and every one of you for the lovely messages that you wrote about my brother passing away on the 31st of January. Your words are so kind and warm, thankyou so much.
Everyone has had so much fun throughout this last week and a half. Humour and laughter are such wonderful coping strategies and ways of healing. Its been a lot of fun :)
The funeral is in just over an hour, the funeral cars will be picking us up soon. We had a viewing yesterday and said our goodbyes, it was fine, he looked happy and at peace.
I am getting up to do a speech first thing today, hopefully my legs wont give way and my eyes will remain dry! Wish me luck!
I hope everyone on here is well.
I love 'coming home' to here to see you all keeping this going.
Stay happy
Caroline

There's no shame in un-dry eyes.
Be brave, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we're thinking of you today. |

Well said Esteban. I don't know you but I really am feeling just broken hearted for you.
Good luck and just let your feelings and grief flow. Speaking from experience, it does no one any good to try and bury it. |

It's good to hear you're doing ok. Keep the laughter, it is definitely the best coping skill we possess :) |

The event has probably already occurred by this time...
but I really hope all went well. And your brother got the send off he deserved, sounds like a nice bloke, I hope everyone remembers him with fondness.

hi Caro,
Just wondering how it went? and are you ok?
although if you don't wanna talk about it that's fine too, I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say our thoughts are with you and yours at this most difficult of times.
