was that from your rice word game thing? that one stuck out for some reason to me!
No it was when somebody (can't remember who) was making some recipe and didn't know what cilantro was. Someone said "it's coriander" and I thought they were smoking crack because to me coriander is a black round spice and cilantro is a plant/herb. Since I am a nerd I was excited to learn this. |

Another thing I've learnt: no matter what the topic is, we'll end up talking about food. |

Great topic Kayte!
1. I've learned that there are others out there that are as crazy about Travis as I am, lol, and that this band has such an incredibly nice fan base!! I've made so many friends here.
2. I've also learned that despite being rock stars, the lads of Travis are really down to Earth and friendly. This was further confirmed when I met them in person, but I just think it's so cool that Fran comes on here to chat with us, to post up new song lyrics, to dress up in a crazy costume and record his version of Friends on YouTube...stuff like that. :) |

You're freaked out by a potato chip? They're sort of a sweet, salty, tangy combination. My two-year-old eats them. They're delightful. |

4. What "Hogmanay" is.
8. Pancake Day.
I haven't learned those two. Could someone explain, please?
I also learned the word "concur"!
- The words "barf" and "snuggle".
- That I'm still able to comunicate with people who don't speak Spanish even though I haven't studied English for years.
- That LA steals SF's water xD.
- Some expressions in mexican, chilean and spanish (from Spain, that is).
