I may have missed commentary on this when it was first put up...but I have to say that the photo on the front page of travisonline makes me smile every time I see it. I love the juxtaposition of the rising fan and crouching Fran. And I love the pure joy radiating from the fan. He perfectly demonstrates that moment where fan and band are connected by the music.
So, my hat is off (metaphorically, as I never wear hats because they don't look right on me) to the photographer for capturing the moment, the fan for being lost in the moment, and Fran for having a very rock n'roll moment.  |

I think the fan is generally known as the Naked Argentinian (or a version of that). Nobody knows who he is, though.
