A sad day. Would be good if Fran could dedicate something appropriate to his memory on Sunday night at the Barras.

RIP Uncle Phil

Phil was one of my favourite Celtic players back in the day when he signed for Celtic and I'm totally numb just now even after a Travis gig on Sunday. Such a tragic loss to the whole football community in Scotland

The hardest thing I'm coming to terms with is that my mate called me at 5.37 and told me Phil had died. Now I'd never met Phil but if the official time of death is 5.18 then I found our less than 20 mins later. My mate was friends with the O'Donnell family in case you're wondering. Its affecting me in case I found out before anyone close to him. Daft I know but thats just the way it goes

YNWA Phil

I actually can't believe how someone young + fit can just die.

While I can understand the amount of sympathy and out pouring of grief, why were half the games cancelled today??

Obviously I can understand Mothrwell's game being off, that's a gimme, but... Celtic - Rangers(I don't remember the mick faithful going on a bout how great he was at the time, from what I've seen Shefield have more cause), Gretna - St Mirren ???

Dubz

btw, this is not a post about Phil (R.I.P.) but about every other fucker jumping on the bandwagon.

bbtw, I also think a minutes round of applause was a beautiful gesture.
