REALLY? I never noticed! What does he say before the Na na na na na na nas? I'll have to listen for it today...think I've got my Beatles "1" album in the car.

eh , you should have them all , plus a few mono and MFSL.
ones too

I DO have them all, actually. (On CD and my dad's collection on vinyl). Just saying that's the one I had handy in my car with "Hey Jude" on it. :)

What's everyones favorite song from Paul's new album "Memory Almost Full"? I love this one. It's kind of strange at first, but grows on you. It's really different. I love it!

I don't care what you say! I love him and I think his music is great!

And I'm a big fan of John too!!

And about Fran, i remember watching a concert Paul gave, I think it was called "Chaos and creation in Abbey Road" or something like that, and Fran and Dougie were there.

Great concert by the way, I saw it like 4 times in a row! If you have the chance to buy it, do it, I'm sure you'll love it too!

Yeah, I like Paul's music too.

I can't really speak for his character, because I've never met the guy. And, I'm not going to rely on what different media outlets say about him, because although I hate to admit it, being and aspiring journalist myself, the integrity of journalism today is in a word, terrible. (run on sentence...)

So in conclusion, Paul makes great music. Is he a nice guy... well, I don't know.

I don't know why a gig or the music Paul McCartney makes has anything to do with his personality, even more considering we haven't met the guy in the flesh.
He's a genious, my favourite Beatle in this period of my life.

No, I haven;t I'm not privildged enough to obviously mix in those circles, but when a man decides to tell me he solely invented "techno" when A: there were three other memebers in the band and B: They had a whole back room of support staff to back them up least of all George Martin. Or the fact that he's probably managed to piss off the whole population of Cambletown singlehandedly, or that he marries a soft porn star then gets upset when things don't work out and she takes him for fucking everything, or The Liverpool Ontario, Or THE FUCKING FROG CHORUS or Pipes of piece or Mull of kintyre or the fact that he waited until his so called mate is dead 10 years before trying to have the credits changed from Lennon/McCartney to McCartney/Lennon.

again no i haven't met him but I do have my reasons for dislikeing the fucker and I'm entitled to my opinion.

But surely one of the points you're missing is that all of those stories you've heard about McCartney are from secondary sources; from newspapers, television and the like that can twist everything and represent people however they wish. I'm not suggesting he's a perfect person, because he's just as human as any of us. But if every thing you did in your life was pronounced to the population - exaggerated, manipulated or presented without proper reasoning – then perhaps you’d understand how unjust it is to pass such harsh judgement on someone you don’t really even know.

Representation is a big part of my media studies course. I know these things. :p

Maybe I'm just being cynical but...

A: are you perhaps idolising him for what he has done?
B: I agree with you 100% but there is also no smoke without fire, I haven't heard one good word in the media or from the media circles, most people with any integrity reckon he's a wanker.
