Queen- started when I was about 10 and listened to Sheer Heart Attack. I collected everything that I could (bit like I do with Travis now!) |

because my first favourite bands, in order, were:
Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers
MC Hammer
Shakin Stevens
Status Quo
But if we're going for the first 'proper' bands I got into then they were:
R.E.M
The Beach Boys
Aerosmith
Green Day
Do you go and see the Quo at the AECC every Christmas then? Ok I will admit to liking Mud before the Queen thing kicked in! Now I am showing my age! |

Madness are the Bollix, as I've grown older I prefer The Specials, The Selecter(seen live about 5 years ago), Toots and the Maytals, etc. etc. But Madness will always be that little bit special, their version of Swan Lake is fucking brilliant!!!

I like 'The Specials' but haven't listened to all of their albums. Likewise with 'The Selecter' so I'll definitely have to rectify that eh.
Btw, I can't listen to the song "Ghost Town" anymore without thinking about Father Ted. |
