because of shock value
look at just this board. this is the 2nd thread on the subject and that cover/issue was released quite a few weeks ago. i think early june maybe?
perhaps the editor took the same life drawing class as me because thats what one of the models looked like. i kept having to draw that over and over. not my favorite for sure. life drawing classes, you get all kinds of models.
you want to scrutinize her appearance but that actually says alot about the person you are. when you see her does it make you angry? uncomfortable? do you think glutony? sex? its a very provoking and memorable cover, even if you don't want to remember it. lol |

I don't think it's nasty because she's heavy, I just think she has no sense of class posing nude like that. And this girl is doing it all for attention, which is also irritating. Beyonce dances around in her bikini just for the attention and she's fit, and I think she's just as irritating if not more.
I personally think all these female 'artists' pose nude like this because they want to prove some crap about equality, whether it's 'I'm as hot as skinny bitches' or 'I can pose nude and be sexual like a man'. The whole thing bugs me, because to me she is conforming and giving in into a stupid trend rather than having a mind of her own. |

That's exactly what irritates me! WHY do we as a society have to look at others and think 'If they can do it, why can't I'?! instead of asking ourselves 'Why are they doing this?'
Why is it that we believe that what they do is so right?
Why aren't we questioning others' actions and making our own decisions? |
