Yeah! I'm starting to hate Hollywood, in fact, since a couple of months I don't pay for those movies cause I hate american foreign policy and that's my way to say it.
Also I don't eat in Burger King, McDonald's and stuff like that... among other things
I'm not a fan of Hollywood except if we talk about Hollywood Golden Age which is a great source of inspiration and is truly fascinating.
I like directors like Hal Hartley, Woody Allen..
I'm not sure if I've seen something directed by Hal Hartley but I agree about Woody Allen...
my fav Hal Haltley films :
The Unbelievable Truth (1989)
Trust (1990)
Simple Men (1992)
I think he has the ability to picture the extraordinary in ordinary people - also, i find his films quite emotionnal.
Thanks I'll try to find them!! |

Adrift!
i can't stress enough how shit it is.
i think it's called Open Water 2 in the states though, just to cover over its shitness the name seems to be changed.
we only went to the cinema because our tv was broken.
i kept looking at my watch , it felt like it was hours long.
apart from the obvious glaring plotholes, crappy script and the "oh let's take all of our clothes off cos that will help us stay alive" it had the cop-out ending of the century.
never ever touch this crap if you can avoid it. |

'The truth about Charlie'. That was the worst piece of shite and waste of time I have ever seen. I actually want those 80 minutes of my life back. |
