in another thread we've been going back and forth on how common the use of the "C" word is in today's society.
is this particular word offensive to you? |

i detest that word
i usually ask friends to refrain from using it. and they are polite enough to oblige.
i say the "F" word all the time but i refrain at work and in public places such as restaurants if kids are around. i always try to watch my language around coworkers, authority types, elders, and kids. if a friend asked me to not say a certain word because it was offensive to them, i would refrain and apologize if i let it slip. |

I don't like it. It just sounds ugly and degrading. |

i really dislike it being used at the drop of a hat.it's used so often these days that kids will say it and have no idea of what it refers to.
that's what gets to me about it being used.
that said i have called people that but only if they really really disgust me and i can't express my distaste in any other form than to stray from my usual vocab. |
