Read the Millenium trilogy
Haven't worked a single day
Got a new Apartment/Flat (I fucking love it)
Lost a girlfriend
Started a new exercise regime (had to give up due to weather but will pick it back up)

Had yet another procedure done on my jaw
Lost a job
Had a wonderful time hosting boardie friends
Went to Utah with hubby and got to see Meridith
Got in a car accident
Got my braces off
Went to Toronto
Got another job
Quit it

Had laser eye surgery (one of the things on my list)
Visited Anne & the boardie girls in Austin, Texas
Went to Las Vegas for the first time, another boardie adventure
Enrolled my youngest child in school and took the older two out.
Read several non-fiction books cover to cover (also a first)
Learned some lessons the hard way
Ran a mile non-stop (another first)
Became a better parent...and still working on it

Passed my driving test
Passed my A-Levels with much higher grades than expected
Started univeristy
Helped my nephew pass his 11+
Seen several gigs by Seth Lakeman
Driven my series three land rover on the road
Managed to get affordable car insurance :-P
Won a scholarship to university
Seen Sebastian Vettel win the F1 world championship ^_^
Edit: Cuddled my new baby niece (today!)

I became my own boss and earn more now whilst working less.
I also lost my dad which has opened my eyes about certain relationships I have with my family and friends. |

Graduated from university and became a Sociologist.
Didn't sign up for or attended any classes as part of the formal education system in the whole year; something I haven't done since I was, what? 3 years old?
Started studying Italian.
Performed at The Cavern Club in Buenos Aires.
Participated in the celebrations of the 200 years since May Revolution.
Went to Europe for 36 days!!! (This implies LOADS of things!!).
Tried new food.
For the first time I visited countries where people don't speak Spanish and was able to use my (limited) language skills.
Met Megg, Wendy and Fred in Paris!
Met Bodi in Madrid!
Met Flat Travis. :oP
Met Amy MacDonald at the airport in Barcelona. :oP
Cried for the death of an ex-president (the first time I cry for a politician).
Saw Paul McCartney live.
Saw Belle & Sebastian live.
Helped out in a trial against 17 men responsible of genocide.
Went to an audience of a trial for the first time.
Went to court to hear the judges pronounce sentence: 12 accused men were sentenced to life in prison, 4 to 25 years and one (a kidnapper, torturer, rapist, killer) was acquitted (this will probably be appealed).
Saw the general who led the coup that caused the death and disappearance of 30000 people in Argentina being sentenced to life in prison.
It was a brilliant year for me. The bad thing is, I don't know what I'm going to do in 2011. I need new plans in life. I don't have any.

Grown up a lil' bit. A lot, actually.
It's been, by far, the worst year ever for me. Hopefully 2011, with all the plans I have, is going to be MUCH better. |
