Wonder why it's on some versions and not on others. I bought my copy of Wreckorder from a store in the U.S. and it's not on there at all.

However, someone was nice enough to send it to me and I liked it instantly. Gotta give it a few more listens so it really sinks in, though. :)

What a song! I love it! Definitely one of the catchiest songs that Fran's written and, in my opinion, just one of the downright best songs he's penned too. I only heard it for the first time last night (long story) and I must have listened 10 times this morning alone. Along with Anything, this would be my choice of next single. I wonder why it's only on the special editions...? What a tune!

Perhaps I don't love it quite as much as you do, but I agree it's great. It's a shame it's only on the special edition. It should be one of the albums main tracks. I think Anything would be a good next single and Sierra Leone should perhaps be single number 3. :)

I suspect my love of it will decrease a little bit when the initial excitement wears off, but for the moment I might as well wax lyrical about it! *whistles along happily* :)

Fran trying his London accent on As it Comes at the end has really confused me lol

I think this is why most people don't like the song. Luckily that's not the final version.
Sierra Leone is quite good. It's a strong collection overall.

Album isn't available physically in Australia, and as i can only purchase stuff from the Australian iTunes store, I'm not even allowed to purchase Sierra Leone.

Why isn't the album available physically in Australia? It's a disgrace. Went to a few record stores, they checked their computers, and no record of it being available. Shits me somewhat. It's Fran Healy, lead singer of Travis, it's bound to be worth stocking.

I totally share your sentiments! so S.Korea has a bigger Travis fan base than Australia. ooh.. anyhows, i bought mine online from UK (recordstore) so, if you can wait a bit for air travel, you'd get your album w/ sierra leone in it. i don't think US albums have it (i can't be sure about this any more, though).

Am I getting the lyrics right? I'm not sure..

Hey,everything is gone away,anyway
Say,just because you want your way this way(???)
Dodododododo you want it
Dodododododo you care
Dododododo you promise
It’s where I'm calling
Baby baby baby where did you go
Vienna,Siena,Sierra Leone
Baby Baby where did you run
Vienna,Siena,Sierra Leone
To think(??)
What a lovely thing to bring
For the queen
The king
Just before it started to rain
Now the rain is falling
Chorus

Almost. Here's fixed one based on the printed lyrics on the cd cover

Hey
Everything is going away
Anyway
Say
Just because you want it your way
Désolé
D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Do you want it
D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Do you care
D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Do you promise
Do you swear
I'm callin'
Baby baby baby where did you go
Vienna, Sienna, Sierra Leone
Baby, baby, baby where did you roam
Vienna, Sienna, Sierra Leone

Pretend
What a lovely thing to bring
For the queen
They came
Just before it started to rain
Now the rain is falling

D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Do you want it
D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Do you care
D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-Do you promise
Do you swear
I'm callin'
Baby baby baby where did you go
Vienna, Sienna, Sierra Leone
Baby, baby, baby where did you roam
Vienna, Sienna, Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone - At the studios of Last.FM

Enjoy!

P.S. There's also an interview and he performed three other songs: As It Comes, Fly In The Ointment and Moonshine :)
