My aunt is named Liliane like you.

But I'm a Lilian without the -e, and with stress on the first syllable ;P

I know !
My name is Frederique and it is also a guy's name however it is spelled Frederic but abroad it is only a guy's name.

actually it's a girl's name, too, in Germany! It's "Frederieke", you pronounce it with a kind-of-audible e at the end (Frederick with extra-stress on the k-ending would be the guys-name).

There are quite a few German men who's second name is "Maria" (Rainer Maria Rilke being a famous example)... whyever would I call my son "Maria"? ...

I once worked with a couple of Romanian guys called Marian and Katrin, to make the names feminine you add an "a" at the end. Seemingly this is quite common in Romania

Dubz

In which occasions did you call them Mariana and Katrina ?
LOL

And they draw each other !! If that was England/Spain/Italy they would have been kept apart until at least the Semis, still I suppose it means there will be a French team to shout for in the semis. Maybe Lyon will get revenge on Man U.

Abs, Who you shouting for this evening... Bordeaux or Lyon ??

I think Bordeaux have done very well getting to this stage and would love to see them going all the way, however with the winners of this match playing Man Utd you have to fancy Lyon's chances as opposed to Bordeaux.

Bookies:-

15/8 Barcelona
13/5 Man Utd
4/1 Inter Milan
9/1 Arsenal
11/1 Bayern Munich
14/1 Lyon
18/1 Bordeaux
40/1 CSKA Moscow

Monkey, reckon anyone is worth a punt?? Inter & arsenal are both a not bad price and could be outside winners.

15/8 & 13/5 are pretty much spot on for Barcelona and Utd as the both would avoid one another until the final. You would have to fancy Inter to beat CSKA over two legs, however i dont think Inter can then win a semi against Barcelona and then beat Utd in the final (should it pan out the way i see it). Arsenal should count themselves lucky to be this far into the competition, they dont have a word class (fit) striker and for this level of football their keepers are shite. If i was froced into a bet with a little value then it would be inter, just because of Maureen
