I sent you a message on Facebook earlier Nora that mentioned to you that yes, they did play The Ballad Of J Smith live. Once, earlier this year.

Hey everyone!! What a night in Ferndale! I'm still recovering, lol! Yes, from an acoustic show. :P It was so so so amazing and great to meet with Fran and Andy after the show. Kayte & I and our boys had a great time together. We were first in line and even had time to wonder off and get a pizza. When we returned, we were still first in line! Haha! God, we are geeks! We were right up front next to the stage, the slides were so cute and funny and the setlist was great, despite the fact they didn't play The Connection even though I was screaming it at the top of my lungs! LOL! ;) It's OK because Side Wide Open pretty much made up for that...AND Blue Flashing Light! Other highlights were Turn (it just sounded so good last night...Kristy, you will love it) More Than Us, Luv with Fran on harmonica and the new song As It Comes, which I loved!! It's kinda got a heavy feel, but not too heavy...kinda sounds like a 12 Memories type song...I guess. Hard to explain it, but it's basically about a couple getting old together and then the woman dies at the end. It was a cool song...I think I even like it better than Holiday, but I can't really say at this point without bass and drums and all that. Also, Andy did a great job on piano all night. I had no clue he even played piano! I was annoyed that we couldn't use flash or take videos, but my boyfriend got some great pics and I snuck a video of the b-side "Beautiful." I will upload everything sometime this weekend!

Thanks Fran & Andy. :) Good luck with the rest of the tour and with writing songs for the new album!!
