I know that you get 5 million requests on the board, but if you played The Connection in Ferndale on Thursday I would be the happiest person on Earth! :) I can't bribe you with pumpkin bread because I'm not a talented cook like Anne, lol...but it's my absolute favorite B-side and such a beautiful song. I've always wanted to hear it live!! I'm so excited you guys are coming back to Michigan. We missed you!!!

The drums really add to this song, but I still think it'll sound beautiful with just Fran and Andy. It's very 1950s Everly Brothers sounding to me. I dunno, maybe that's way off but when I listen to The Connection, I think of that scene in Back To The Future where Michael J. Fox is at his mom and dad's prom. :P |

I think I know what you mean. It's that twangy guitar solo, a bit like Sleepwalk by Santo & Johnny or Walk, Don't Run by the Ventures.
So, if it'll help, I'm completely willing to support Nikki's plea with baked goods. What'll it be, fellas? I make lip smackin' apple pie, made with hand picked, fresh Michigan apples. MMmmmmm. I'm open to requests. :D |

I would definitely sing The Connection if you sent me apple pie.
I support this request, because it's on my own list of requests and Nikki promised to record it. I really want to listen to this song :oP.
