oh dear god, i rang the bank all in a panic because i noticed €700 dissapeared tragically quickly from my account. i had notions of my card being skimmed and everything...no no no, i just went on a bit of a stupid drinking and clothes buying spree...oops.
and to think i had given both up for lent...money sucks! |

That is pretty funny. My friend once got a credit card bill that was bigger than her mortgage payment. Every single charged item was from a bar.
She cut back on drinking after that. |

Im glad Im not much of a drinker. My shopping more than makes up for it. Which is bad news bears when things like...my car insurance is due, or the hard drive in my laptop dies.
Oh well. Tis life. And at least when I buy clothes I have something to show for it that makes me all kinds of happy. |

It's only 13th and I have money left ONLY to pay a rent and bills. Not that I need to eat or anything.
Damn you, girls' drinking nights out. Oh, and Topshop spree last Saturday. Ugh. |

It is hard at the beginning because you're in a shop and are desesperate to buy this gorgeous 100 euros T-shirt and it could be yours in a matter of minutes with your credit card BUT having to withdraw money i order to buy this T-shirt changes everything.
Congratulations for being debt free. |

Thanks! I actually don't have a credit card. I have a debit card so anytime I do want to charge something the money must already be in my account. |

That's great Lindsay! We were debt free for quite awhile until tenants stopped paying rent and clients stopped paying Brian for his work. I was really mad for a long time because I felt like our debt wasn't out fault. Now that we have a stable tenant and Brian actually gets paid I've let it go and am just so happy we are digging ourselves out of the hole. Knock on wood we should be out of debt within a year or so. |
