Wow! Seriously impressed - I don't know the hole context around this but as I read it I thought it was kinda sad - romantic - but sad too.
"one day your love will grow" obviously means that it didn't do so yet ...
And "hey I'm still young" sounds as an excuse but for what all - for not lovin' or? ... "reasons of unknown"....argh - loved to read the whole lyrics - to know about the whole context.

ok I'm impressed

Thaks a lot, I wish I could be impressed as well, I'm sucha perfectionist :S And this is one of these projects that never gets finished, but it has got some potential =)
Actually I've only got this verse that I'm totally satisfied with so I have nothing more from that one to post right now ;)

The second verse has a bit more romantic touch to it, but it's not finished ;(

I guess this one is about love, hope and a wish for something more..
But when I write, the lyrics just come to me from nowhere.. I can write a song about a murderer that doesen't even exist! Totally weird! LOL!

Thanks again!

hihi...I like it ..;)

Well that's naturally, isn't it? I mean how could you write about something you've never experienced in your life before - from any perspective. Or did I missunderstand you?

I mean when writing poems or songs it's always about something bothering you - good or bad - but it has to have something to do with you, doesn't it? Otherwise it would just be - I don't know...an unpersonal story telling...

I mean all those great (in their way) songs like I kissed a girl or Baby one more time or else: what do they mean - when sung by someone, who has totally nothing to do with it...

Gee I probably totally missunderstood you and am loosing track now here...
sorry for that mate ;)

Well just to say that again: I like that kind of sadness within these lines that you wrote - or again : I just missinterpreted it - again...

Yeah I agree! The best songs are the ones you have some kind of personal attachment to.

Sometimes i write songs that sound cool and all, but they are completely rubbish! I usually don't come back to these ones later :P

Loss, hope, love, wishes, death, sorrow....that's the big subjects wich I build my songs around... I think you might like another song that I've written called "Higher Ground"...Here's a little taste:

And when will you walk with me?
Like you did when you had time
And when will you talk to me?
And say that all be fine
When will we touch higher ground?
When will you stick around?

I thought I heard you laugh
I thought I heard you sing
But it was just another dream
When will we touch higher ground?
When will you stick around?

You're right I really like it - would love to listen to the music to this one too. There it is again this - feeling of loss - dunno..

About the rubbish songs: Ok there are also just fun songs, you know, songs that are just made out of fun or boredom :) like "no cigar" f.i. or else ;) These are also cool...

(Ps: keep on posting lyrics -I really enjoy reading them!)

Absolution!!! I mean, i wanna go home and sit on the piano searching forthe perfect chords to fit this one!!! (and vote for Get Up once more??? Alex??? Only for Get Up....)
I think i have some talent on songwriting, i made this once with friends lyrics (and it was good, i think), so have some chances to produce something good...
And by the way, i am back on board!!!
