I think listening to TBWNN is like eating a fresh salad with some mild cheese in the middle and a rotten cucumber in the bottom.

Errrhm sorry.

TBWNN is definitely a salad, there's some gems in there but they're hidden under a lot of lettuce ;) Ben, chocolate cake is slightly too gloopy to match TMW perfectly but both are the ultimate in music/food :D Maybe a little icing sugar to make it all snowy like the album cover? Oh, and I'd like to see how you found 153 of my posts that are valuable in any way! :P

:(

I think TBWNN is a well cooked roast with pomegranate sauce.
Not everyone likes it, but everyone knows it is well made....
And i am the one who adores it (except some bones in the end...)

I totally agree with Ben about Closer and The Man Who.

And by the way, have a wonderful trip Alex and a great day to all of you!!!

Enjoy the trip Alex. :)

I LOVE The Boy's first 8 songs but the last 6 let it down for me. I think if it was 3 songs shorter (11 songs) and Out In Space, Under The Moonlight, New Amsterdam, Sailing Away and Perfect Heaven Space were b-sides it would be much better. (Adding 2 of the b-sides to the album to make the 11 songs) I think it is too well made in places, too polished. But it is a really wonderful album, mostly. :)

After another win for my team today i don't think these results will be quite as exciting but i'm off to look... lol *skips off* ...

... *skips back*

Great win for Side! :) Delighted Closer beat Song To Self. Can't believe The Beautiful Occupation beat All I Want To Do Is Rock. And do we know who the other Tied To The 90s voter was? Haha!

Sad to see Definition Of Wrong lose but by looking at the table, and seeing the amount of votes for it, it has only 4 less votes than She's So Strange in mid-table.

Yeah, agree, even though I love Sailing Away and I like the "Spaces" pretty much...

Totally agree about the cucumber and some bitter roots i use to remove, but, you know, I expected the Boy to be a more glorious food....

By the Way, I found Division's 3 decider:
07 January 2009
Sarah - Last Train: 15 - 14

Woooo, you've got your quotes messed up there. Haha. I agree, i think Sailing Away is a good song. Maybe just a little too sweet really. Fran wanted it to be a single you know. He said that at a gig i went to. I was surprised. :)
