No, my dear grandmother passed away. She was living out of state, so she has to be flown back up here. Funeral home viewing on Wednesday, actual funeral on Friday. With Thanksgiving in between. Ugh.
I loved my grandma so much. She was a great lady; the best example of a woman I've ever known. Her death makes me sad, but it is more of a relief because she was in such bad shape; She was 91, she had Alzheimer's, and partially paralyzed by a stroke, she couldn't do anything for herself. She was miserable like that.
I just hate funeral stuff. The funny thing is remembering what she always said about what she wanted when she died. She always said, "If people didn't come see me when I was alive, they don't need to see me when I'm dead. And I don't want an expensive casket. Just put me in a gunny sack and throw me in the river!" That was my grandma!

I do something similar as i count "how many more mornings do i have to get up early before the weekend starts".
Wednesday is "the bridge day" of the week.
Yippee ! |
