IMHO, it shows both sides Leeds & Clough to have their own agendas. If I was a Leeds (or a Clough) fan I wouldn't be happy about some of it. Unfortunately Leeds were a dirty team, though people will use the excuses of that is what is was like in them days or they'll use eupimisisms like Leeds have always been a "Physical" team. IMO Leeds have only toned down their style in the last decade or so.

Today I also watched...

This was utter shite, the storyline was non-existant the acting was bullshit and it was all over the place.

I don't think there was more than 2 seconds of silence at any point in this show. They just talk, talk, talk, talk, talked! But in typical old movie fashion, the dialogue was all clever. Totally predictable from the first 5 minutes. But still...kinda fun.

Really quite awful, Vincent Pryce regards this as his finest piece of horror acting, Really ?!? mind you it would probably have helped if they'd remastered the whole thing and not just bits of it.

it wasn't horrible, but not very good either. It was super predictable. And entirely expected you to know too much about mermaids!

Uh huh! I started watching it with my great nephew but then I just couldn't stop! Full on cheesy but wonderful ;) lol This was my introduction to The Jonas Brothers. I had heard of them but never knew who they were....maybe it should have stayed like that.

Harvey is somewhat ridiculous and yet brilliant and perfect all at the same time. If you don't like it, you are asking for too much. 1950's for films and film stars was just the best!

After only seeing parts of it, I rented it, watched the whole thing, and laughed my ass off!

Last night I saw "I was a Male War Bride" starring Cary Grant and Ann Sheridan. Now we all know Cary Grant is always Cary Grant and this movie was the same--except that he is supposed to be...FRENCH. There was no bad French accent because he didn't even attempt a French accent, he just talked in his regular Cary Grant sort of British/Boston-ish accent all his own.

It was entertaining, but not that great.

We just saw this tonight. I loved it! It was funny, witty, and charming. It makes me wish I could have been in Paris in the 20's!

Thanks, Andrew, so you do you. I haven't seen Harvey yet, but it's on my list.

Funny about the Paris thing, I just borrowed "An American in Paris." We only got about 20 minutes into it and I turned it off because it was getting late and I was getting too sleeeeepy.

I couldn't watch "An American in Paris" either! Actually, I think I did watch the whole thing, but I really hated it! I can't understand how it got so much acclaim!
