seriously, i don't wanna moan too much or anything, but it's just annoying. this is a great great place, with fran being here and everything, but yet it's not much fun if the forum is extremely slow or not available at all for most of the day.
i remember it was fine a few months ago. but these days i often can't log in for hours. and then when the board is back, i sometimes have to wait a couple of minutes until i can read a thread.

isn't there any chance of changing the server?
and i'm sorry, i have no idea why i'm posting this in the travis section, maybe it will get more attention this way.
i really like this place but i'd like it more if i could come here whenever i like...

Totally agree with you.
It's better at night, but I can't keep posting at 3 am because there's no one in here!
Please, please, do something.
I feel like the server is going ahead with a couple of hamsters on a little wheel!

I AGREE! I was just about to start a thread about this actually. You might want to include an "FAO:TWT" to the subject line so they see this.
It took me 20 minutes to log in, click on inbox and reply to a PM earlier today. I LOVE this board...just wish it were faster.

Hi Sarah,
yes we are aware that the server for the site has been very slow at certain points recently and we're looking into this at the moment to see if we can pinpoint any issues.

Yes response times are improved today - it can be a tricky process to isolate the problem, but we'll keep an eye on this to see if we can pinpoint anything.

I have had lots of problems over the weekend, but it is better for me today.
Lets hope that it the problem is due to an increase in volume of people cos of Ode!!!!!!!! |
