I sleep in the auld Birthday Suit and go from hot to cold, to leg in, leg out, duvet off, duvet on and then the alarm goes off and you wonder if you even slept. Having some mad REM sleep at the minute.
My mate somehow got tickets to see Oasis (minus Noel) in The Point Theatre in Dublin back in ’97 and as I wasn’t allowed to sleep out all night in the queue I missed out. When I asked him all about it and who the support band where he said “Some band called TraNis from Scotland”
That sent me down a rabbit hole of finding out who this was as whoever Noel picked as support was always worth a listen. Found a copy of Good Feeling and obsessed over it, still to this day think Funny Thing is up there with the best song Fran has written.
Then it was onto eBay to get every possible CD going. The More Than Us EPs are just spectacular.First ever album I remember listening to on an mp3 player.
Love the Ice Hockey & the NFL but Basketball and Baseball just don’t grip me the same.
Once you get it in one on Wordle you tap out. Every so often I’ll give it a whirl.
@gladsadmad I had a handwritten cassette tape from Amy that got lost many moons ago in the loft and probably the skip when something called MP3’s started being the craze. Gutted I didn’t hold onto it as no one believes me when I tell her she was one of us!
I take it it’s not just me and we all have sore backs and creaky knees now!?
@almond I work with a South African girl BUT I got Mexico in the Sweepstake so there’s really only one team for me tomorrow……and all tournament.
Worse for me, my 12 year old daughter got me back into Pokemon Go which I’m pushing hard on to get to Level 80
