Travis fanart

Just curious — how do you all feel about fanart? Do you love seeing it, feel neutral, or prefer not to? Has anyone here ever tried making anything creative related to Travis before?

The reason I’m asking is — I’d really like to make more Travis fanart, but I feel like I’ve hit a bit of a creative block. Does anyone have any advice or inspiration to share?

I draw and am currently creating some images of them in a hand-drawn style to make a striking piece of art, and this takes time just to think about the image.

Fan art is a good way to get inspired since it’s something you love, but I prefer something more artistic and not something that looks like a souvenir with the band’s image. However, I’ve already tried printing them manually using copper foil, but they didn’t show up in the image.😆🤷🏻‍♀️

My advice is that the technique can choose you, and pay attention to how you feel while creating the art. I always make my memes of them with great joy in my heart and laugh a lot before posting.

I made a silkscreen gigposter for the Fran/Andy show at the Swedish/American Hall in San Francisco .I think most copies ended up in Argentina .. I also made 2 gigposters for Teenage Fanclub using pics from people from the old Travis Message board . Trust me TFC got a chuckle out of that info when I told them
