As a nearly 37 year old, who’s first album was Good Feeling that was gifted by my dad, im begging you to please come back to Scotland for a concert soon!
I still live near Glasgow but my dad now lives down south. He has promised he will come up and take me for that dad & daughter date if you do! -
I do not live in Scotland but it’s my fav country and feels like home so yes pleaseee come back and I can travel to see you guys again!

Hey Jecpeg46. Please say thanks to your dad for brainwashing you early :))) We DEF will be coming to Glasgow when we next hit the road and you will DEF hear about it first here on the board. I have been to a lot of shows with my son, the last being Belle and Sebastian twice last week in LA. They played their first 2 albums and a bunch of other songs. I love meeting dads and mums with their kids at shows. See you hopefully at the next one in Scotland. X

Hey Fran, how about a late October show in Glasgow? I’m planning on making a trip back for my grand 50th (Oof it’s surreal to read that, feels like it should be many many years from now 😆) and would be a wonderful way to celebrate the turn, and to also hear Turn which is one my absolute faves!

Thankyou for the reply Fran, literally made my dad & mines day! Im now so excited! Many amazing road trip between south Yorkshire and Glasgow have we had your albums on repeat! The man who album was by 10th birthday party music, un-shy 10yr old me signing to my hearts content. Oh how times have changed and wishing we could go back to better times! Now my children sing along to your music in the car and my 9yr old often uses “why does it rain on me” in his tiktok videos!
Can’t wait for this to happen, there will be tears as I get to sing the best songs with my dad! -
