I remember when I would turn on a computer and it would take a long time to connect to and disconnect from the internet. And notifications weren’t part of life. I was addicted to video games until I realized I was wasting a life there, but I still play and use the internet consciously, without letting them use me.When I first had the courage to post on the old board, I had a newborn baby and I spent many hours chatting with boardies whilst he slept. It was my link to the outside world. He’s 22 now !

SaraNooo, stay for a bit longer. I’m on the bus in the way to work on a soggy Brisbane winter day (mind you our winter day is still 23deg)
It’s crazy to see how we have changed but stayed the same at the same time!
Basically, I used to be TheInvisibleBoy here, as I joined the Board when I was in college (so probably about 18 if I recall correctly, think around TBWNN, so 2007ish).
As I’m now approaching 38 and have a young family and many more responsibilities than all those years ago, I think I’ve officially grown-up, so can no longer call myself TheInvisibleBoy, hence TheInvisibleMan.
But, assuming like everyone here, despite growing up and all those changes, my love for Travis has remained all through, to the point where my wife and I actually attended a show on the L.A. Times tour while my wife was pregnant with our daughter who has just celebrated her first birthday!
Thank you for bringing the board back! I can’t stop smiling! Memories!
