Q? for band – What song would you donate for Scotland World Cup song

World Cup starts tomorrow guys,
Fran, Dougie, Andy and Neil,
what song from your catalogue would you donate or think would be most fitting to be the ‘un’official Scotland world cup song…..
i have been thinking about this and have a few options

Fellow Scots Del Amitri (who Travis have covered the song of: nothing ever happens’) did one: ‘Don’t come home too soon’ – it was a cracker 🙂

I saw an interview with Justin Currie from Del Amitri talking about that song. The players were supposed to provide backing vocals but the session didn’t go very well so the producer who was also working with The Supernaturals a few weeks later just got them to record them. There are some of the players in there but what you hear is mostly The Supernaturals. 😂

I’m sure Dougie has said he wrote a WC song after watching the Scotland team at France 98… But obviously he never got a chance to release it as we never went back! Doubt this campaign is worth of one after our early exit 😂😂

“I got a kick out of you, now I’m falling down”. Wonder what VAR would have to say about that! Plenty of players “can’t stand up any more, forever fall-iiiiiiinggg…” Haha
