LA Times is my favourite travis album. It was released around the time i discovered them so it’s quite special. My fav song is alive, what about you?

Alive is very good. I really like Bus and Home too, and The River has a special place in my heart.

Alive – Everything passes like smoke, yet somehow it still matters. We’re alive, and we’ll live better.
Home – A dad who always believes in every dream his child has. And a child who gives him back so much joy and comfort.
River – Love across generations flows on like an endless river.
Gaslight – Need I say more? A true masterpiece. Let it give us the courage to tear down all the draining things and people that try to shape us.
Raze the Bar – Cheers!!!
Bus – The wind will carry us wherever we need to go.

Same here! Honestly, whenever Alive comes on, I feel like I’m alive again. But there’s no denying that Gaslight is such a banger.

IMO it’s their best album in 20 years. I’m an old, battle-worn Travis fan and the first four albums take some beating for me, but LA Times is Travis at their best again.
Bus is probably my favourite, feels so quintessentially Travis, like it could come off an older album. Gaslight is a perfect pop song. And the title track is awesome, love how it’s so different to anything they’ve done before.

Not to be a broken record (heh), but I too love Alive. My just turned 8-year-old’s favorite Travis song is ‘Bus’ (and she even sings most of the deep tracks word for word; I’m very impressed, lol… One day, she was randomly singing ‘Boxes’).
