Visiting Scotland had been on my bucket list for a long time…I’m finally here! Sadly I’m leaving tomorrow but I’m enjoying everything on this beautiful land.
Cool temperatures, lovely food, amazing landscapes, peace, quiet, all things old and beautiful. Maybe some would find some of this too boring, but those things are exactly the reasons for me being here. Not missing scorching hot and noisy Spain 😆
How about you? Are you Scottish? Have you visited Scotland? What is your favourite thing about this country?

I’m also yet to visit Scotland, it’s most definitely on my bucket list too, I love history and archaeology and that part of Europe is just 👌. Shame it’s so far from Oz but that won’t stop me from one day visiting, guess exploring new places comes with my Portuguese background 🤷🏻‍♀️. Glad you got the opportunity, especially dodging the extreme heat in parts of Europe right now!

Yes, it’s good to avoid the nonstop heat of the Mediterranean summer for a week or so. I’d love to stay until September 😆
Hope you can visit soon, you would loved it too!

I hope to visit someday, too 🥹 I’ll have to bring a raincoat. I’m interested in the music scene, the viewpoints overlooking the entire city, and the museums both the temporary exhibitions and the permanent collections, especially the biology and science ones. I avoid tourist activities that involve animal exploitation or risky situations. And I think it will take a few days to really get to know the place properly. Interestingly, there’s an exhibition there about the rain and the location itself.

Hola, Scotland is indeed a pretty country – we are all still appreciative of our childhhod and formative years there. Glad you enjoyed your Trip and hopefully you get to explore a lot more another time. N

Cool! I went to Scotland in February with my husband, and definitely we felt in love with those lovely places. I went to Inverness, Loch Ness and Edinburgh, but we missed a lot of places like Glasgow but really, I want to back soon and spend more days in that lovely country 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥰
